Self-Steering Committees

Collaborate with academic peers at Una Europa universities through Self-Steering Committees (SSC) with a focus on six interdisciplinary areas:

Research collaboration and collaborative grant applications from member universities are supported and encouraged.

Celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026 with Una Europa! Sign up for free, online “bite-size” sessions to learn the basics in one of the official languages of Una Europa (or further afield!) in a relaxed setting with 45-minute 'taster' sessions, taught by qualified language tutors from across the alliance, or come along to a panel discussion on multilingualism with linguists and experts from the Una Europa community.

Past projects

Previous teaching and learning collaboration across Una Europa initiatives include the creation of MOOCs, micro-credentials, and joint undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.


The University of Edinburgh led on the Una.Resin project, supported by Horizon 2020 funding, available exclusively to European University Alliances - producing a joint research and innovation strategy.
